Meagan Scott, MA, NCC, LPC
Do you ever feel hopeless or that you are getting in your own way of success? Ever feel like you have excess baggage that you carry around, feelings of guilt from past experiences, or animosity in relationships?
I use Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help people move past the emotional obstacles in their lives. I focus on goal setting to be able to achieve the life you want to live. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a diverse background in helping individuals and families struggling with addiction, grieving families of seniors with dementia, children in the foster and legal system, and children with autism.
I have earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. I further continued my education and completed a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from Waynesburg University. I have also achieved Board Certification as a National Certified Counselor.
“Remember, you can’t reach what’s in front of you until you let go of what is behind you!”
