My anxiety and depression were out of control. I felt stuck and my doctor’s only answer was to prescribe medications which all had horrible side effects. I called Pittsburgh Psychotherapy and I’m so glad I did. After a few months with my therapist, I am starting to see improvements and my life feels much more manageable now.
Since coming to Pittsburgh Psychotherapy Associates I actually look forward to therapy. My therapist is awesome! The other staff is great as well. They are extremely helpful and always friendly.
Our experience has been nothing short of wonderful. My daughter’s therapist is so helpful and kind. She is someone who spends time getting to know you and answering all your questions. She makes us feel comfortable and at home. I can’t recommend their services enough.
I was at my lowest point before I started seeing my current therapist at Pittsburgh Psych. My therapist not only assured me it was going to be okay, but he worked with me for months to make sure my issues were addressed and solved. This place was a life saver for me.
We are very pleased with the level of therapy our son has been receiving. Our therapist answers our questions without using technical terms and we always feel welcomed. She is very accessible (as is her office) and she answers our calls and emails within a few hours.
My husband and I thought our next appointment together was going to be in a divorce attorney’s office, and then I called Pittsburgh Psychotherapy Associates. Our therapist was simply the best. He was upfront, but compassionate and never arrogant like other therapists I’ve encountered. He helped us communicate in a way that felt natural and never forced.
The words ‘care’ and ‘respect’ immediately come to mind when I think of my therapist. She has supported me through my wife’s death and my daughter’s addictions. She inspires me and helps me find hope when there doesn’t seem to be much around.
I can discuss anything with my therapist. I have never felt so open and honest with anyone in my life. I finally feel like I have some purpose in my life…5 stars for Pittsburgh Psychotherapy Associates!
It's easy to judge.
It's more difficult to understand. Understanding requires compassion, patience, and a willingness to believe that good hearts sometimes choose poor methods. Through judging, we separate. Through understanding, we grow. -Don Zantamata
