PghPsych+Animal Friends = Success

PghPsych + Animal Friends

Pittsburgh Psychotherapy Associates is launching a fund-raising campaign for Animal Friends. From now through October 31, we will donate .50 cents for every NEW LIKE we get on our Facebook page. Animal Friends, located on Camp Horne Road in the North Hills, is a non-profit animal resource center serving the needs of pets and people for more than 70 years. Their progressive programs have been nationally recognized and include humane rescue, shelter and adoption services for homeless pets, humane education, pet behavior classes, pet-assisted therapy, wellness programs and more.

Studies have consistently shown, pet ownership is good for mental health and pet companionship offers a great way to reduce anxiety and stress. Here is a pet ownership checklist to see if a four-legged companion is right for you.

How the campaign works: I was hoping you would like and share or post our graphic and the copy below to your Facebook wall to get the word out about this wonderful organization and help us raise some dollars for the doggies and cash for the kitties. Thank you for your support!

“From now until October 31, for every NEW LIKE on our Facebook page PghPsych will donate .50 cents to Animal Friends, a wonderful organization dedicated to nurturing and promoting animal/human relationships through outreach, education and therapeutic programs. Please share the Pgh Psych Facebook page with your friends and family to help us raise money in support of our furry friends this fall!”

In good health,
