There is no “right” way to grieve. No one can provide us with a timetable to predict the ups and downs, the intense feelings, or the emotional pain. Grief is a natural, active process, by which great change can and will occur. Whether the death of a loved one, a loss of a job, divorce or separation, or a sudden physical disability, grief is a word synonymous with emotional transformation.
This month we explore the elements of grief within pop culture. The avenues of healing are not often the the most obvious ones and this episode focuses on the change that occurs when we experience grief and loss in our lives.
