Becca Burbules, LCSW
Whether it be maneuvering through the vast stressors of daily life, overcoming the hardest battles, or adjusting to your new normal, these moments shouldn’t have to be experienced or managed alone. I cherish being given the opportunity to bear witness and assist others as they work towards any, and all goals they hold.
I have over 7 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families on creating positive changes and movements in their lives. I enjoy working children and adults alike and encourage family engagement in therapy sessions. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Human Development and Family Studies at Kent State University. I received my Master’s in Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh with a Certificate in Mental Health Services. After further supervision and direct patient care I obtained my Licensure in Clinical Social Work. I have worked in various levels of care including, in home therapy services, case management, group therapy, partial hospitalization programming, therapeutic preschool, and inpatient psychiatric services. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy including aspects of solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, strength based, and trauma focused techniques.
My priority in treatment is ensuring you feel heard, validated, supported, and encouraged to reach your goals. Given the chance, I believe I can help you or your loved one move in a positive direction.

“You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.” - We Bought a Zoo
