Fawn M. Clark, MA, NCC, LPC
You’ve done it! You’ve taken the first step to creating a healthier you. If you’re looking for someone who will listen without judgment and who will join with you to help you move forward toward a more rewarding life, then I would like to meet you. I don’t believe that therapy is done with a “cookie cutter.” I do believe that it is a mutual relationship between the client and therapist to create comfort, trust, growth, and change. Together, we will focus on understanding your struggles and learn how to manage them so that you can take back your life.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor with more than 10 years of experience providing help to adults, older adolescents (16+), and couples who are struggling with a wide range of issues including, but not limited to substance abuse, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, stress and anger management, self injury, couple and marital counseling, as well as faith-based counseling. As I believe therapy is an individual experience, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), to name a few-to aid in our journey toward change.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and returned to IUP to earn my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling. I completed internships in both community mental health and substance abuse facilities.
If you’re ready to take this next step on your journey, I’d be happy to join you.
I look forward to hearing from you soon!
