Megan Gross, MS, LPC
Megan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with over 10 years of experience counseling children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings. Megan obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh in 2009 and completed her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology at Chatham University in 2012.
Megan’s varied clinical experience has consisted of working in a multitude of inpatient and outpatient settings, including behavioral health rehabilitative services (BHRS) as a Licensed Behavior Specialist, Behavioral Specialist Consultant and Mobile therapist. Megan has strong clinical and diagnostic experience in emergency psychiatry, having worked in the emergency room at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic as well as the Mobile Response Team at ReSolve Crisis Services.
Megan’s additional experience includes inpatient substance use treatment with adolescents, clinical supervision of an outpatient community mental health practice and most recently care management for Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) at Community Care Behavioral Health. Megan has worked with a variety of diagnoses including Anxiety, depression, autism, social pragmatic communication disorder, ADHD, ODD, various mood disorders, adjustment disorders and other internalizing/externalizing behavioral disorders.
Megan uses an eclectic approach to helping clients and their families including a variety of counseling modalities including (but not limited to); Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, Narrative Therapy, Behavioral Modification and various other techniques.
